Mobile Health Intervention for Oral Anticancer Therapy Adherence
This study is testing a new mobile health (mHealth) program called SMART, which uses TAPPT® smart labels and a web app. The goal is to help people with cancer take their oral anticancer therapy (OAT) medications correctly and manage any side effects. The SMART program offers personalized text reminders, surveys about medication and symptoms, and support for financial and social needs. We want to see if this program is easy to use and helpful for patients. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, speak English or Spanish, have any type of cancer, and have recently started or are about to start an oral anticancer medication. You also need to be receiving treatment at UCI Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and own a smartphone. This study plans to enroll 35 participants, but the current status is unclear.
