Understanding Barriers to Vegetarian Diets in People with Chronic Disease

This study aims to understand what makes people with chronic diseases in urban communities open to or hesitant about adopting a vegetarian diet. Researchers will use a survey to ask about your openness to vegetarianism and common barriers, such as how tasty you think vegetarian food is, how convenient it is, and if you're worried about what others might think (stigma). They will compare responses between Black and White individuals. The goal is to learn more about these factors to help people consider vegetarian diets. This study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll about 150 participants.
