Ropivacaine and Fentanyl for Labor Epidural Initiation

This study is looking at the best dose of medicine to use when you first get an epidural for pain relief during labor. Researchers are testing a standard epidural mix of ropivacaine and fentanyl. They want to find the right amount that gives good pain relief within 30 minutes. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, pregnant with one baby, are between 2 and 7 centimeters dilated, and are asking for an epidural. The study will also look at any side effects and how satisfied patients are with their pain relief. The current recruitment status is unclear, and the study plans to enroll 50 participants.

Study design
This is an interventional study with 50 participants. It is an observational study where researchers will watch how participants respond to the epidural.
