Comparing Wavefront-guided and Ray Tracing-guided LASIK for Nearsightedness

This study is comparing two types of LASIK surgery, Wavefront-guided LASIK and Ray Tracing-guided LASIK, to see which one works better for correcting nearsightedness (myopia) and astigmatism. If you join, you will have Wavefront-guided LASIK in one eye and Ray Tracing-guided LASIK in your other eye. Both are FDA-approved procedures. We are looking for people aged 22 to 59 with healthy eyes, nearsightedness between -1.00 and -10.00 diopters, and astigmatism of 3.00 diopters or less. The main goal is to measure your uncorrected vision one year after surgery to see if there's a difference between the two methods. The study plans to enroll up to 70 participants, but its current status is unclear.

Study design
This interventional study will enroll up to 70 participants. Each participant will have Wavefront-guided LASIK in one eye and Ray Tracing-guided LASIK in the other, with the choice of which eye gets which procedure assigned randomly.
