ARP is a procedure to maintain the bone and gum shape after extraction, often before a dental implant. Researchers will apply the laser on the day of your extraction, and then again on day 3 and day 7. They will measure inflammation in your saliva, the size of your wound, and your pain levels to see if the laser treatment is helpful. You may be able to join if you are at least 18 years old, are scheduled for a tooth extraction and ARP, and can report your pain level. The study aims to enroll 39 participants.
