This study aims to understand how different parts of your brain involved in the sense of smell affect your behavior. Researchers will use a technique called transcranial ultrasound stimulation (TUS) to gently stimulate specific brain areas: the piriform cortex (TUS PirC), the amygdala (TUS Amy), or a control area (TUS Sham). The main goal is to see if stimulating these areas changes how you perform tasks related to smell. You may be eligible if you are a healthy, right-handed adult between 18 and 45 years old. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status, but plans to enroll 80 participants.
