Study of Valbenazine for Tardive Dyskinesia

This study is looking at how well valbenazine works for adults who have tardive dyskinesia (TD). TD is a movement disorder that can cause involuntary, repetitive movements. You might be eligible if you have TD and are currently taking, or have recently stopped taking, another medication called a VMAT2 inhibitor. To join, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, or major depressive disorder. The main goal is to see if valbenazine can reduce your involuntary movements, as measured by a special scale (AIMS) after 24 weeks. The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 50 participants.
