This study is testing a virtual reality (VR) assistant called ViRA to help Black men newly diagnosed with prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is a serious health concern for Black men, who are diagnosed more often than White men. The ViRA app aims to provide support, help with social needs (like finding resources), and offer emotional and psychological support. Researchers want to see if ViRA can reduce emotional distress and improve how patients feel overall. You may be able to join if you are an African American/Black man, recently diagnosed with prostate cancer (within two months), and are a patient at a participating clinic.
