Trauma-Informed Care for Smoking Cessation in Pregnancy

This study is exploring how to best help pregnant women who have experienced trauma to quit smoking. It's called "Trauma-Informed Care for Smoking Cessation for Pregnancy." The researchers are currently focusing on understanding the challenges these women face in quitting. They are also interviewing healthcare professionals to gather their insights. The goal is to develop a new approach, called RISE Pregnancy, that combines trauma-informed care (which recognizes the impact of past trauma) with established methods for quitting smoking. This study is currently enrolling participants for this initial phase.
