Observational Study of AI-enabled Blue Light Cystoscopy for Bladder Cancer

This study is looking at how a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool can help doctors use blue light cystoscopy (BLC) to find bladder cancer. BLC is a procedure where a special drug, Hexvix/Cysview, is used to make bladder lesions glow under blue light, helping doctors see them better. This study will collect videos and images from BLC procedures to see if AI can make the assessment of the bladder surface more consistent. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older, have been prescribed Hexvix/Cysview, and your doctor has planned a blue light cystoscopy with biopsies. This is an observational study, meaning researchers will collect information without changing your medical care.

Eligibility criteria

Inclusion

Age 18 or older
Written informed consent, approved by relevant IRB/IEC, signed
Hexvix/Cysview has been prescribed in the usual manner in accordance with the terms of the marketing authorization (see Appendix B)
Physician has planned to do a blue light cystoscopy on the patient and to obtain biopsies, if clinically indicated, of suspicious lesions with video confirmation.
Patient has not previously taken part in this study
