Cognitive-Motor Training for MCI and Aging
This study is looking at new ways to help older adults with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), an early stage of memory problems. It aims to prevent the progression to Alzheimer's disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). You might receive either a "Novel CogXergaming Training," which involves playing six different cognitive games for about an hour, or an "Exercise and Education Training Program" (EEP). The EEP includes 50 minutes of supervised exercise and 10 minutes of fall-prevention education. Researchers will measure your balance, physical activity, and movement skills to see if these programs are helpful. We are looking for 46 participants aged 55 to 90 who can walk independently and have MCI.
