7T Brain MRI for Micro-brain Metastasis Detection in SCLC
This study is looking at whether a special type of MRI scan, called a 7T MRI, can find very small brain metastases (cancer that has spread to the brain) earlier in people with small-cell lung cancer (SCLC). You can join if you have SCLC, have chosen not to have prophylactic cranial irradiation (a type of radiation to the brain), and a recent standard MRI (1.5T/3T) showed no brain metastases. The study aims to see if the 7T MRI can detect these metastases sooner than standard scans. The study is currently unclear on its status and plans to enroll 20 participants.
