Observational Study of Veritas Vision System in Cataract Surgery

This study is looking at how well the Veritas Vision System works during cataract surgery. Specifically, it's observing the 'effective phaco time' (how long the ultrasound energy is used) and any loss of endothelial cells (important cells on the inside of your eye). We want to see if using the Veritas Vision System helps protect these cells during surgery. You might be able to join if you are an adult having age-related cataract surgery, and your surgeon plans to use the Catalys Precision Laser System and TECNIS intraocular lenses (IOLs). The study will measure how long the ultrasound is used during surgery. This study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to include 50 participants.

Study design
This is an observational study involving 50 participants. It is a single-center study, meaning it takes place at one location.
What's involved
You would have your cataract surgery as planned. After surgery, you would have one follow-up visit 3 months later for eye evaluations.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Participants will be assessed 3 months after their surgery at a single visit.
