Group-based Lifestyle Program for Metastatic Breast Cancer

This study is for women with metastatic breast cancer (cancer that has spread to other parts of the body) that is hormone receptor-positive (HR+) and HER2-negative. It's looking at how well a comprehensive lifestyle program (ACLP) can support patients. The program involves interactive exercises and activities, with some groups also getting support from a "Learning Circle" or individual health coaching. Researchers want to see if these programs are practical to deliver and if they can help improve things like diet, exercise, stress management, quality of life, fatigue, and sleep. You would be on first- or second-line treatment and have a life expectancy of at least 12 months.

Study design
This interventional study plans to enroll 100 women. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of three groups receiving different versions of the lifestyle program.
What's involved
You would complete all sessions and instruments, which involve interactive exercise and activity modules over 8 weeks, and receive weekly calls for 8 weeks. You would also complete surveys and have blood tests for albumin, vitamin D, and magnesium levels.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Your safety and any adverse events will be monitored through study completion, which is an average of 1 year.
