Fluid-Guided Heart Failure Treatment at Cleveland Clinic

This study, called FIGHT-HF, is looking at a new way to manage heart failure using a special device called the Bodyport Cardiac Scale. This scale helps you and your doctor track your weight and fluid levels. Your doctor will also get alerts and a dashboard to help them manage your care remotely. The study aims to see how well this system works in 50 adults who have been hospitalized for acute decompensated heart failure (a sudden worsening of heart failure symptoms). To join, you must be at least 21, able to speak and read English, and not have severe heart failure symptoms or be scheduled for a heart transplant soon. The main goal is to see how often the system generates alerts about congestion (fluid buildup) over 90 days.
