Power Training for Mobility in Older Veterans
This study is developing a new exercise program called Gerofit Power Training to help older veterans improve their mobility. It's designed for veterans aged 65 and older who are new to the Rocky Mountain Regional Gerofit Program and can function independently in a group setting. You cannot join if you need oxygen, have unstable heart disease, or significant memory problems. Researchers want to see if this new power training program is practical and helpful compared to the standard Gerofit program. They will measure how well participants stick to the program over 3 and 6 months. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and aims to enroll 30 participants.
