This study is looking at whether extra support can improve the quality of life for Veterans with lung cancer. It compares two groups: one receives usual care from their cancer team, and the other receives usual care plus weekly phone calls for six months with a Lay Health Worker (LHW). The LHW helps with healthcare planning, managing symptoms, and discussing care preferences. We want to see if this additional support improves your health-related quality of life.
