If you join, you'll either use the Dexcom G7 CGM, which shares real-time blood sugar data with your healthcare team, or you'll use traditional 'finger stick' tests. Doctors will use this information to make treatment decisions during your scheduled visits. The study aims to see if using a CGM improves blood sugar control, reduces low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) events, and lessens blood sugar variability over 90 days. You might be able to join if you are 18 to 90 years old, have diabetes, are expected to use insulin after leaving the hospital, and have uncontrolled blood sugar (HbA1c of 8% or higher). The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 120 participants.
