Prostate Cancer Study: Abiraterone, Prednisone, and ADT with Radiation
This study is for men with prostate cancer that has spread to their pelvic lymph nodes, but these nodes are still small (less than 1 cm). Doctors are using a new imaging test called PSMA-PET to find these small areas. The study compares two treatments: standard hormone therapy (Androgen Deprivation Therapy or ADT) with radiation therapy, versus an enhanced ADT that includes abiraterone and prednisone, also with radiation therapy. The main goal is to see how many men are free from their cancer for five years after treatment. You may be able to join if you have a confirmed prostate cancer diagnosis, PSMA-positive pelvic lymph nodes under 1 cm, and haven't had prior treatment for your prostate cancer.
