This tool helps healthcare providers (doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants) make decisions about ordering CT scans for pulmonary embolism (PE), which is a blood clot in the lungs. The tool will only appear when a provider's order goes against standard medical guidelines, giving them a chance to rethink their decision. The main goal is to see if this tool helps providers order CT scans more in line with guidelines. You could participate if you are a provider (MD, NP, PA) aged 18 or older who orders CTs for PE in adult patients at specific study Emergency Departments (Northwell Health - Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, Baylor College of Medicine, and NYU Langone Health). The study aims to improve appropriate CT ordering and reduce unnecessary scans.
