kTMP for Arm Weakness After Stroke

This study is testing a treatment called kTMP (kilohertz transcutaneous magnetic perturbations) for people who have arm weakness due to a stroke. kTMP is a low-intensity brain stimulation technique that aims to help with arm and hand recovery. Participants will either receive kTMP sham stimulation (inactive) followed by active kTMP stimulation, or active kTMP stimulation for 18 weeks. The study will measure how well your arm moves using a test called the Fugl Meyer Assessment. You may be able to join if you are an adult between 18 and 80 years old, have had a stroke causing weakness on one side of your body, and can communicate and understand the study. The current recruitment status is unclear.
