Cognitive Rehabilitation for Veterans With PNES
This study is testing a new approach called Cognitive Rehabilitation And Functional Treatment (CRAFT) for Veterans who experience Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizures (PNES). PNES are seizures that are not caused by epilepsy but by psychological factors, and they can make daily life very difficult, especially due to cognitive problems. CRAFT is a behavioral therapy designed to help improve your thinking skills and daily activities if you have PNES. The study aims to see if CRAFT can improve your overall functioning and quality of life. To join, you must be a U.S. Veteran, able to understand and agree to participate, report cognitive difficulties, have a confirmed diagnosis of PNES, speak English, read at an 8th-grade level, and have a computer with internet access in a private space. The study plans to enroll 47 participants, but its current recruitment status is unclear.
