MB-Spirit for Stress Reduction and Well-being

This study is testing two online programs, MB-Spirit and Strong Behaviors for Stress Reduction, to see if they can help adults aged 18 to 50 reduce stress and improve their spiritual well-being. You can join if you understand English, can attend all classes, and can travel to Boston for MRI scans (if selected for that part of the study). The main goal is to see if these programs improve your sense of meaning and peace after 8 weeks. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll 44 participants.

Study design
This is an interventional study where 44 participants with high stress will be randomly assigned to either a live online course or a self-paced program. A subset of participants will also have MRI scans before and after the program.
What's involved
You would participate in an 8-week online course (either live or self-paced), complete questionnaires and an interview before and after the course, and record daily homework practice. Some participants will also have MRI scans before and after their program.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
Your spiritual well-being will be measured at 8 weeks after starting the program.
