HIV Suicide Prevention With AI-DBT for Older Adults
This study is testing a new way to help older adults (age 50+) living with HIV/AIDS who are at risk for suicide. It uses an adapted version of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a type of counseling, delivered through AI-powered videos. You would watch 14 short videos (5 minutes each) twice a week that teach DBT skills. You also have the option to join coaching sessions. The study aims to see if this approach helps you feel more capable of managing your emotions. We plan to enroll 50 participants, but the current status of the study is unclear.
