Head-Only Draping in Pediatric Tonsillectomy

This study is looking at different ways to drape (cover) children during a tonsillectomy (surgery to remove tonsils). It compares two methods: the standard Full-Body Surgical Draping and a new approach called Head-Only Surgical Draping. The main goal is to see if one method leads to fewer infections within 30 days after surgery. Children up to 18 years old who are having a tonsillectomy can join. This study will also look at how much waste each method creates, the costs, and what medical staff think about them. The current recruitment status is unclear.

Study design
This is an interventional study that will randomly assign 200 participants equally to either the head-only draping group or the full-body draping group.
