This study is looking at how myotonic dystrophy (DM), a type of muscular dystrophy, affects your muscles. Researchers want to see if a special type of MRI, called quantitative Magnetic Resonance Imaging (qMRI), can be used to measure changes in your muscles. They will measure your muscle volume and fat content at the beginning of the study. This information will help them understand how DM affects muscle structure and if qMRI can be a useful tool to track the disease and help in future drug development. You may be able to join if you are between 18 and 65 years old, have a diagnosis of DM1 or DM2, and experience muscle weakness or stiffness. The study aims to enroll 75 participants.
