This study is looking at whether a topical solution called Timolol 0.5% can help surgical wounds heal better and more safely. These are wounds that are left open to heal naturally (called secondary intention healing) after procedures like Mohs micrographic surgery or standard surgical excision. You would be randomly placed into one of two groups: one group will apply Timolol 0.5% to their wound daily for 12 weeks, and the other group will apply a placebo (inactive substance) called Hydrogel. The main goal is to see how much the wound area changes over 12 weeks. We are looking for 220 participants who are 18 years or older and have chosen to heal their surgical wound by secondary intention.
