Observational Study of Brain-to-Brain Communication in Romantic Partners

This observational study is looking for healthy volunteers in a romantic partnership to understand how brains communicate with each other. Researchers will use a method called "hyperscanning" with electroencephalography (EEG) to record brain activity. You and your partner will interact with each other and with a stranger, both in person and remotely, while your brain activity is measured. The main goal is to see how brain-to-brain communication (Inter-Brain Connectivity or IBC) differs between romantic partners and strangers.
