AI-Powered Health Assessment for Cardiovascular, Kidney, and Metabolic Health
This study, called "Cardiovascular Kidney and Metabolic Health Assessment and Patient Empowerment," is looking at new ways to help people with conditions like heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes. It's testing two main approaches: CHAPERONE AI and CKMiq AI. CHAPERONE AI uses artificial intelligence (AI) like chatbots and copilots to help manage your health. CKMiq AI uses an algorithm based on "LIFE ESSENTIAL 8" biomarkers (health indicators from the American Heart Association) to try and reduce hospital readmissions for heart problems. The study also aims to improve your quality of life. You might be able to join if you are over 18 and have diabetes with a high A1C, heart disease with a stent or recent bypass surgery, or chronic kidney disease (stages 2-4). If you have heart failure, you would also need a recent hospitalization. The study's status is unclear, but it plans to enroll 300 people.
