This study aims to understand how brain activity relates to risk-taking and reward-seeking behaviors in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will use neurophysiology recordings (measurements of brain activity) during deep brain stimulation (DBS) surgery. They will also deliver neural stimulation (electrical pulses to the brain) while participants complete a gambling task to see how it affects their performance. The main goals are to measure changes in specific brain wave patterns (caudate DLPFC beta coherence) and how gambling task performance changes with neural stimulation. You may be able to join if you are at least 40 years old, have Parkinson's disease or another movement disorder, are scheduled for DBS surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and can participate in testing during surgery. Inclusion

Scheduled to undergo deep brain stimulation surgery under local anesthesia at Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Planned clinical electrode trajectory that contacts caudate
Age greater than or equal to 40
Diagnosis of Parkinson's disease or other movement disorder
Able to participate in intraoperative testing
English speaking

Exclusion

Age less than 40
Not able to participate in intraoperative testing (for example unable to comprehend instructions or follow directions)
