New Sweat Test Device for Cystic Fibrosis
This study is testing a new device called the micro Sweat Test Patch (mSTP or µSTP) for measuring sweat chloride levels. This device aims to improve how we diagnose and monitor cystic fibrosis (CF). Researchers will compare the results from the mSTP to the standard sweat test method. You can join if you are between 2 weeks and 90 years old, have a confirmed CF diagnosis (through a genetic test or high IRT level in newborn screening), and do not have skin conditions that would prevent testing on your forearms. The study will measure sweat chloride concentration using both methods to see if the new device works as well as the standard test. The study is currently recruiting participants.

- Sweat Chloride Concentration using the sweat test sensorup to 30 minutes post-device placement
Sweat chloride concentration by the µSTP will be assessed and measured using the sweat test sensor.
- Sweat Chloride Concentration by SOCup to 45 minutes post-intervention
Sweat chloride concentrations will be measured using the standard-of-care method, using pilocarpine iontophoresis. The collected sweat samples will be sent for analysis of the chloride concentration. The results from the same participant will be compared to the measurements made with the µSTP device.
