Acupuncture for Children with Gut-Brain Interaction Disorders

This study is looking into whether acupuncture can help children and teenagers (ages 8-17) who have Disorders of Gut-Brain Interaction (DGBIs), which can cause problems like abdominal pain or irritable bowel syndrome. Currently, there aren't many effective treatments for these conditions in children. You would either receive real acupuncture (P-GAP) or a sham acupuncture treatment, which feels similar but doesn't involve needle insertion. Researchers want to see if acupuncture can reduce your pain and improve your quality of life. The main goal is to see if acupuncture provides adequate pain relief over 12-14 weeks.
