Lymph Node Examination in Cat Allergen Immunotherapy
This study is looking at how your body's immune system (IMMUNOTHERAPY) responds to cat allergens. We are testing an "intradermal cat allergen challenge," which involves injecting a small amount of cat allergen into your skin. We want to understand how your lymph nodes react to this challenge. We are looking for 16 participants, aged 18 to 45, who have moderate to severe cat allergies that affect their daily life or sleep. Eight participants will have already been on cat allergy shots (subcutaneous immunotherapy, or SCIT) for at least a year, and eight will have never had cat allergy shots. The main goal is to count the number of specific cells in your lymph nodes at Day 4 and Week 3 after the challenge.
