Virtual Reality for Stroke Rehabilitation
This study is testing a new virtual reality (VR) program called VALOR Home Exercise Program (HEP) for people who have had a stroke. The VALOR HEP uses a commercial VR headset (Meta Quest) to help you practice daily activities at home. Researchers want to see if this VR program helps improve arm and hand function better than usual care. You might be able to join if you are an adult who has had a stroke affecting your hand function at least three months ago, and you have some finger movement and good enough vision. The main way they will measure success is by looking at changes in your upper body movement using a test called the Fugl-Meyer Upper Extremity (FMUE) at the start, after 8 weeks, and 3 months later.
