This study is looking at how changing the occlusal vertical dimension (OVD), which is the distance between your upper and lower jaws when your teeth are together, affects your lower facial shape and lip position. Researchers will use removable bite splints to change your OVD by -4mm, -2mm, 0mm, +2mm, or +4mm. The goal is to see how these changes impact your facial features and how this varies among different ages and genders. You may be able to join if you are between 21 and 90 years old and wear complete dentures or overdentures. The study will measure things like the length of your front teeth and the height and width of your lips shortly after the bite splints are placed. The current status of this study is unclear, and it plans to enroll 50 participants.
