HM15275 for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

This study is testing a new medication called HM15275 for people with type 2 diabetes. HM15275 is given as a shot under the skin. We want to see how well HM15275 works to lower blood sugar (measured by HbA1c) and if it is safe and well-tolerated. You might be able to join if you are 18 to 75 years old, have type 2 diabetes with an HbA1c between 7.0% and 10.0%, and a BMI between 25 and 50. You should also be managing your diabetes with diet and exercise alone or on a stable dose of metformin. The main goal is to see the change in your HbA1c over about 41 weeks. This study is currently unclear about its recruitment status.

Study design
This is a Phase 2, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study involving about 180 participants. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive HM15275 or a placebo.
What's involved
You would have a 4-week screening period, followed by a 36-week treatment period where you would receive weekly subcutaneous injections of the study drug.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
After the 36-week treatment period, there will be a 4-week safety follow-up period.
