Ureteral Stent Length and Symptoms Study

This study is looking at whether the length of a ureteral stent (a small tube placed in the ureter to help urine flow) affects how comfortable you are after surgery. Doctors often place these stents after a procedure called ureteroscopy. This study compares two types of stents: a "variable length ureteral stent" which is a standard one-size-fits-all stent, and an "image-informed length ureteral stent" which is chosen based on your specific body measurements from imaging scans. The goal is to see if a stent sized to you causes fewer symptoms. You may be able to join if you are between 18 and 80 years old, need a ureteral stent after surgery for kidney stones, and meet other health requirements. The study will measure your symptoms using a special questionnaire at different times after your surgery.
