HeartGPS for Mothers of Infants with Congenital Heart Disease
This study is testing a new psychological support program called HeartGPS for mothers whose babies are diagnosed with congenital heart disease (CHD) before birth or shortly after. HeartGPS aims to help mothers with their emotions, provide information and support, and strengthen family connections. We want to see if HeartGPS can help reduce anxiety in mothers at 4 months after their baby's birth. You might be able to join if you are pregnant with a baby diagnosed with CHD between 16 and 30 weeks of pregnancy, or if you are the biological mother of a newborn with CHD, and your baby is expected to need heart surgery or a procedure within 30 days of birth. The study is currently recruiting 210 participants.
