Study of RAP-219 for Focal Seizures

This study is testing an investigational drug called RAP-219 to see if it can safely and effectively reduce the number of focal seizures (seizures that start in one area of the brain) in adults. You may be able to join if you are between 18 and 75 years old, have been diagnosed with focal epilepsy for at least two years, and are currently taking 1 to 3 other anti-seizure medications. The study will measure how much your seizure frequency changes after about 14 weeks of treatment. This study is currently recruiting participants.

Study design
This is an interventional study where about 312 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a medium dose of RAP-219, a low dose of RAP-219, or a placebo (an inactive pill).
