Digital Intervention for Paternal Postpartum Depression
This study is testing a new digital program called Together in Parenting (TIP) to see if it can help prevent paternal postpartum depression (PPD), which is depression that fathers can experience after their baby is born. PPD can affect men almost as often as women, but there aren't many programs specifically for fathers. TIP is an online program with four modules, including content on infant care, and was created based on feedback from new fathers. We want to find out if TIP is practical to use and if fathers find it helpful. We are also looking at when is the best time for fathers to use this program. You might be able to join if you are an English-speaking man over 18, have a smartphone or internet access, and your partner receives prenatal care at Women & Infants Hospital of Rhode Island. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status.
