Dry Needling for Chronic Lower-Limb Pain in Multiple Sclerosis

This study is exploring whether dry needling can help reduce chronic lower-limb pain in people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Dry needling involves using very thin needles, similar to acupuncture, to target specific muscle areas in the legs to relieve stiffness and pain without medication. You might be able to join if you are 18-80 years old, have a diagnosis of MS, can walk, and have experienced lower-limb pain for at least three months with a pain level of 3 or more out of 10. The study will measure changes in your pain levels to see if dry needling is effective. This study is currently recruiting 24 participants.

Study design
This study is an interventional study with a planned enrollment of 24 participants. It compares dry needling to a sham dry needling procedure.
