Researchers want to see if taking 3000 mg of Niagen® daily for two weeks can increase the balance of two important brain chemicals, NAD+ and NADH. These chemicals are key to how your cells make and use energy. The main goal is to find out if this treatment changes the NAD+ to NADH ratio in your brain, which will be measured using special MRI scans. You might be able to join if you are a healthy adult between 18 and 65 years old, without a personal or close family history of mood or psychotic disorders. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll 50 participants.
