This study is looking at how a treatment called Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB) affects sleep in U.S. active duty service members and veterans who are also receiving Prolonged Exposure (PE) therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). SGB involves an injection of either ropivacaine (active) or saline (sham) near a cluster of nerves in the neck. You would wear a special headband called a Sleep Profiler for three nights before the injection and three nights after to measure your sleep patterns. Researchers will also ask you to complete questionnaires about your sleep. The goal is to see if SGB improves sleep, including total sleep time, how often you wake up, and your REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, and if these sleep improvements help with PTSD. This study is for people aged 18 to 65 who are already participating in another related study (NCT05889741). About 40 people will be included.
