ON-TARGET Study: Improving Supportive Care for Advanced Cancer
This study, called ON-TARGET, is looking at how to provide better supportive care for people with advanced cancer. It's testing if timely referral to palliative care (specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses) and enhanced usual care can improve how often people have an outpatient palliative care consultation. You might be able to join if you are at least 18 years old, have been recently diagnosed with metastatic solid tumors (cancer that has spread), and can speak English or Spanish. The study will measure success by looking at how many participants have an outpatient palliative care consultation at 12 and 24 weeks after screening. The current recruitment status is unclear.
