Steri-Strips are sticky strips placed over a surgical cut to help it heal. Researchers want to see if adding Steri-Strips to the usual way of closing a C-section incision lowers the chances of complications like infection, fluid buildup under the skin (seroma), or the wound opening up (dehiscence). You can join if you are a woman aged 18 or older, pregnant, having a C-section at Riverside University Health System Medical Center, and can give informed consent. The main goal is to see how many wound complications happen within 30 days after delivery. The study is currently unclear about its recruitment status and plans to enroll 610 participants.
