Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD in Sexual and Gender Minority Individuals
This study is testing two types of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) in sexual or gender minority individuals. One is standard CPT, and the other is CPT-LEAP, which is adapted to address stress from lived experiences. The goal is to see if CPT-LEAP better helps with PTSD symptoms. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older, identify as a sexual or gender minority, have a current PTSD diagnosis, experience moderate stress from lived experiences, and live in Massachusetts. If you take psychiatric medication, your dose must be stable for one month before joining. The study is currently unclear on its recruitment status and plans to enroll 52 participants.
