DRAGON Registry for Liver Cancer and Metastases

The DRAGON Registry is collecting information on patients with liver cancer or liver metastases (cancer that has spread to the liver) that cannot be removed by surgery right away. This registry looks at a procedure called combined portal and hepatic vein embolization (PVE/HVE). This procedure helps the liver grow larger before surgery to remove the tumor. The study aims to understand how well PVE/HVE works and if it is safe. Researchers will also look at how different patient characteristics affect the results. You may be able to join if you are 18 or older and have already had the PVE/HVE procedure or a similar one. The main goals are to see if the tumor can be removed three weeks after the procedure and to track how long patients live over five years. The current recruitment status is unclear.
