Study of Miebo® for Dry Eye

This study is looking at how well two devices, the TearScience™ LipiView™ II and the Keratograph® 5M, can measure changes in your tear film after using Miebo®, a treatment for dry eye. Researchers will compare your tear film measurements before and after you use Miebo® at different times. The main goal is to see how Miebo® affects the thickness of the lipid (oily) layer of your tears, as measured by the LipiView™ II, one hour after you take the medication. You may be able to join if you are at least 18 years old and have a normal tear film. The study plans to enroll 20 participants, but its current status is unclear.

Study design
This is an open-label study, meaning both you and the researchers will know what treatment you are receiving. It plans to enroll 20 participants.
What's involved
Researchers will take various tear film measurements before you use Miebo® and at multiple times after you use it. You cannot use any eye drops, including over-the-counter lubricants, within 24 hours of your study visit.
Compensation
Not stated in the trial record.
Follow-up
The primary endpoint is measured at 1 hour after dosing Miebo®.
