Digital Therapeutic for Suicidal Behaviors (Aviva)

This study is looking at how well a digital phone app called Aviva can help prevent suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Aviva uses a type of therapy called BCBT (Brief Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). We are looking for 400 adults, aged 18 and older, who have had suicidal thoughts recently (within the last week) or a suicide attempt (within the last 30 days). You also need to own an Apple iPhone (iOS 11 or newer) or an Android smartphone (OS 8.1 or newer). The main goal is to see if Aviva can reduce self-injurious thoughts and behaviors over 12 months.
