Optimizing Care for Cancer Survivors With Depression: Project 3
This study is looking at different ways to treat depression in cancer survivors. A cancer survivor is anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and is still living. You might be able to join if you are 18 or older, have elevated depressive symptoms (a PHQ-9 score of 8 or higher), are not currently getting depression treatment, and can use telehealth and an app called Moodivate. The study will randomly assign you to either use the Moodivate app, which helps track mood and activities, or have telehealth sessions with a mental health provider. Some people who start with Moodivate might also get telehealth sessions later. The main goal is to see if these digitally-enhanced approaches are practical for treating depression in cancer survivors. The study is currently unclear on its status and plans to enroll 45 participants.

What this trial measures
- Feasibility of a digitally-enhanced stepped care approach to depression treatment among cancer survivors.24 weeks
Feasibility will be defined as either use of the digital mental health intervention (DMHI) at least once per week for \>4 weeks (for DMHI engagers) or attendance at \>4 therapy sessions (for DMHI non-engagers). Digitally-enhanced stepped care will be considered feasible if \>80% of participants meet feasibility benchmarks.
